Automatically e-mail your German B2B invoices and credit notes in ZUGFeRD or XRechnung format, checked before sending and compliant with the EN 16931 standard.
ZUGFeRD (EN 16931 profile): your usual PrestaShop invoice as a PDF/A-3 with the XML file embedded. Readable by anyone and importable directly into accounting software.
XRechnung 3.0: XML file for customers who require it and for public authorities (Leitweg-ID).
Automatic e-mail to the customer (a dedicated invoice address is possible), with an optional blind copy to you.
Checks before sending: VAT ID (USt-IdNr) or tax number (Steuernummer), seller contact, addresses, German VAT rates (19% and 7%), date of supply (Leistungsdatum), Leitweg-ID check digits, consistent totals. An error blocks sending and shows what to correct.
VAT: small business scheme (Kleinunternehmerregelung, section 19 UStG), exemption with a legal reason, reverse charge (section 13b UStG). The right VAT category and legal notice are added automatically.
Credit notes issued as "Rechnungskorrektur" linked to the original invoice, discounts, vouchers, free shipping, gift wrapping.

Since 1 January 2025, every business in Germany must be able to receive electronic invoices. Issuing them becomes mandatory for domestic B2B sales on 1 January 2027 if your turnover exceeds €800,000, and for all businesses on 1 January 2028. A plain PDF is no longer enough: the invoice must contain structured data (ZUGFeRD or XRechnung). This module turns your PrestaShop invoices and credit notes into compliant electronic invoices and e-mails them to your business customers.

The module sends invoices to business customers established in Germany. Sales to consumers keep the usual PrestaShop invoice (not mandatory). Customers outside Germany are not covered in version 1.0. Supplier invoices are received in your accounting software. A credit note for an order with several invoices must be issued manually.

Configure the module and check the first results.
Install the module: an E-Rechnung menu appears under Orders. Enter your company details: name, VAT ID or tax number, address, contact person, phone, e-mail, IBAN.
Choose your VAT scheme and the default format (ZUGFeRD recommended).
Ask your host to set up the scheduled task (address provided in the Help tab). Check the first sendings in the Tracking tab.
